Many times, we start answering to names that aren't even ours. We even start claiming things that don't belong to us. We say things like "I'm depressed" or "my anxiety", etc. We take on the role and identity of everything else except who God actually called us to be.
So who does the BIBLE say you are? What does the BIBLE say about you?
The bible states that we were created in His image. (Gen 1:21) It says that we are a royal priesthood, a holy nation. (1 Peter 2:9) It says that we are CHOSEN and set apart. (Deuteronomy 14:2) It says that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalms 139:13-14) It says that we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37) . That's not all. The Bible says that we are a new creation in Him (2 Cor. 5:17). It states that we are his sons and daughters (Galatians 3:26). We are a light of the world and cannot be hidden (Matthew 5:14).
Guess what? That is not even HALF of what God says about who YOU are.
Do not go another day bearing the weight of what someone who didn't create you, says about you.
You are and always will be who GOD says you are.
Just walk in it. Your life will thank you for it.
